We are on the streets in Rochester, NY regularly praying for the homeless and offering counseling to encourage people to get cleaned up, and into rehabilitation programs for addiction and help with affordable housing.  We offer long term support through mentoring programs for continued connection and encouragement for transformation from homelessness and/or addiction to a new life of clarity and freedom in Christ.  This is the transformation of the Monarch Butterfly.

All of this is possible only through the generosity and support of people like you in our community who share the vision of ending homelessness and drug addiction.

Homelessness doesn’t just happen.

Usually it is due to a very difficult trauma, neglect, abuse, poverty, mental health issues, and so much more.  There are single mothers with small children, small families, veterans, former executives and businessmen, students, and parents.  These all had families, mothers and fathers, brothers, and sisters. So many have stories of when they had a normal life; Before this happened…..
Through the efforts of the Monarch Project, we are seeing transformation.  The people on the streets tell us to “keep coming. Don’t stop. What you are doing matters, and it’s working.” We love them by providing street evangelism, prayer, advocacy, building valued relationships and connections, and meeting practical needs.
Please help us help the invisible by donating today.  Even a small contribution goes a long way in the life of these beautiful, hurting individuals.

Prayer Walk every Monday morning on N. Clinton Avenue Rochester, NY

The opposite of addiction is Connection. We are making connections and showing love for those lost in the shadows of the streets

Meet James

James is a Veteran of the US Army and homeless on the streets of Rochester.  He lost his feet last year in the winter due to frostbite.  Over the past few months, we have built a relationship with him.  We always take the opportunity to pray with him and meet practical needs. He was expecting us on this day, but wasn’t there, so he let us know where he was with a note so that we could find him.  When we found him, we purchased a tent for him and set it up.  He’s sleeping in the wrap on the edge of the parking lot.  His motorized wheelchair (his only transportation now) is covered up alongside where he sleeps.
Please continue to pray for James as just one of the many people who are invisible and homeless on the streets of Rochester.  We see them, care for them, pray with them, and connect with them.
